About The Role

Content Specialist aassures high-quality English curriculum, digital learning content and assessments for primary and secondary learners. You will own assigned content through the full product-development cycle, ensuring curriculum alignment, pedagogical quality, effective digital implementation and release readiness while working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and continuously improve the product using quality findings and implementation feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Combine user research, qualitative insight, and product data to guide decisions.
• Define what success looks like and measure whether changes improved the experience.
• Focus on a small set of meaningful metrics. 
• Deliver accurate, engaging English content aligned with the instructional framework.
• Write, review and quality assure English teaching and learning content, including digital lessons, interactive activities, videos, assessments and teacher-facing resources.
• Apply curriculum, pedagogical and digital-learning principles to ensure content is accurate, engaging, age-appropriate, culturally appropriate and suitable for classroom implementation.
• Design and review assessments, practice activities and feedback to ensure curriculum alignment, appropriate challenge, scoring validity and meaningful evidence of learner progress.
• Manage assigned content through the full development cycle, including planning, author briefing, writing, creative review, platform build, quality assurance and release readiness.
• Own an assigned defined product area, maintaining content quality, tracking deliverables, managing risks and resolving issues through each stage of production.
• Brief authors and suppliers, provide clear and actionable feedback, and coordinate with product, design, production, technology, marketing, training and implementation teams.
• Review content in the platform to confirm that text, audio, images, interactions, feedback and assessment scoring function as intended.
• Use implementation feedback, learner evidence and recurring quality findings to recommend improvements to content, products and production processes.
• Support the development of product information, training materials, implementation guidance, project proposals and content-development estimates.

To Be The Right Fit, You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related subject; a recognised teaching qualification or degree in Education is required
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in English education, curriculum development, educational publishing or EdTech, including experience developing K–12 digital learning content; experience working within the GCC or MENA education sector is preferred 
• Experience interpreting curriculum standards and translating them into learning outcomes, lesson plans and content requirements.
• Knolwedge of curriculum interpretation and alignment
• English subject knowledge and pedagogy
• Digital learning and instructional design knowledge
• Experience in assessment design and review
• Strong in content writing, editing and quality assurance
• Fluency in English
